Bali Love
Discover how NerdHeadz developed Bali.Love, a wedding planning platform designed to simplify destination wedding arrangements.

What we set out to solve
Bali Love came to us with a big challenge—building a platform to simplify the complex process of planning weddings in Bali.
The platform needed to tackle several challenges
- Bring together multiple stakeholders—couples, planners, vendors, and venues.
- Manage communications, tasks, invoices, and bookings in one system.
- Be easy to use, capable of handling complex operations, and ready within tight constraints.
Wedding planning often felt overwhelming, and Bali Love needed a smarter way to organize everything. They envisioned a system that connected people, automated repetitive tasks, reduced errors, and made the process more manageable.
Building the Right Solution
Bali Love had a clear goal—to create a one-stop platform for organized and stress-free wedding planning in Indonesia. Their idea was to bring brides, grooms, planners, vendors, and venues together in one easy-to-use system.
Behind the scenes, we used Make automation for two jobs: invoicing through Xero, and middleware between the marketplace and the booking-providers’ APIs—the integration layer that lets the platform talk to outside systems without custom backend work.
They outlined specific objectives:
Prioritize user experience for all stakeholders.
Ensure the platform can grow with their needs.
Key features included:
Marketplace
A central place to find vendors like florists and photographers.
Wishlist
A space for users to save and organize their favorite options.
Admin Side
Tools for managing operations and keeping everything running smoothly.
Booking Flow
A straightforward way to book venues and services.
This was more than just building a tool—it was about reshaping how weddings are planned, and we were thrilled to help make it happen.
